An avid pilot for over 20 years, Ms. Thorwarth is an instrument-rated commercial pilot, certified flight instructor, and instrument instructor.
Also a vintage aircraft aficionado, she is most in her element flying and researching the histories of aircraft that range from 75 to nearly 100 years old. She additionally enjoys freelance writing on aviation topics for a variety of publications.
